2 More

At my 1 month checkup, I weighed almost 10lbs.  Then I went 2 weeks later to get a few immunizations and I had gained 2 more pounds!  I am just under 12lbs and Mommy can't believe how many clothes DON'T fit anymore!! What can I say?  I am just a growing boy!!

Dada & Me

 With Dada's work, he is often home planning, working on the computer or talking on the phone.  He helps out a lot when he is free which just means more time for Sawyer and I to play with him.  The other day, while I was having awake time in my gym, he came over and talked with me.  I LOVED IT!  Isn't my Dada special?  Mommy says I look just like him.

My First Bottle

 So Mommy and Sawyer could have a date and go shopping at the new market near our place, Dada and I stayed home.  I took my first bottle that Mommy prepared for me and did great!  Plus I loved being in my Dada's arms.

1 Month Old!!

I turned 1 month old yesterday, March 7!  Today I went to see the doctor.  I weigh 9lbs 14oz and am 22 inches long. I'm still working on getting on a schedule.  This week I seem to want to stay awake and fight taking naps during the day.  Mommy says I am more of a crier and it may take longer for me to learn how to sleep on my own.  I sleep 4-5 hours straight through the night right now before Mommy and Dada wake me for my meal.  And whether I am awake or asleep, if you coax my cheeks, I will smile!  But when I am awake, I LOVE spending time with my family!  Especially my BIG brother who cares for me in every way!  Take a look at my pics and let me know...who do YOU think I look like?

My First Bath

Although Mommy thought I would scream forever during my first bath, I actually surprised her and everyone else.  I cried a little bit, but overall did quite well.  The warm water felt nice, but my favorite part was getting bundled up in "I'm a Cradle Baby" towel as well as getting an oil-lotion massage!  AH!

Waketime's NOT My Favorite

Sleep!  What a great word.  I really love to sleep!  But Mommy and Dada insist that I spend at least 15 minutes of wake time after I eat.  They say this will help me be a happy boy, but I sure am not happy about it.  I get held a lot, but I also spend this time in my bouncy seat as well as my Baby Gym Aquarium.  I really have a hard time staying awake and so sometimes my BIG brother keeps me company.  He sure is nice and active.  If only I could stay awake like him!  Maybe someday.

AT-TI-TUDE

 I sleep as much as my brother did when he was a newborn (even to the point where Mommy and Dada have to take drastic measures to keep me awake while feeding),but other than that, we are VERY different.  And boy do I have AT-TI-TUDE!
